We advise all Fly UK pilots to update their freeware aircraft downloads to the latest versions which can be found in the list below and also in our downloads & resources centre. We are also working on a new version of the Fly UK AI Traffic packs for both FS2004 and FSX. Our next job is to work on upgrading existing and releasing new payware repaints for FS2004 and FSX. We will do our best to release new versions of our FSX aircraft as and when more suitable panels are released. ![]() The reason for this is that we have found that there is an extreme lack of quality freeware addons for some aircraft types in FSX. Please be aware that some of the FSX aircraft do come with default panels. We would like to thank Matt Lewis who is our primary fleet repainter, Lee Appleby who painted the FLY2 livery and logojets, Mike Higgins for his work with the freeware ATR72-500, Chris Sutcliffe for packaging all the aircraft into auto install files, Ian cumming who was the origional designer of the union spirit livery, Tim Wright who is an ex Fly UK staff member but spent hours on FS2004 panels/sounds for us, our new fleet repainter Chris Jones and last but not least, William Hall, Ken Hall and the rest of the Fly UK staff team who have helped test the new packages. ![]() I hope you can appreciate by looking at the the long list of new and upgraded packages below that this has been a mammoth task which has been on going for many months. ![]() There are also a few new payware repaints available with more to follow soon. FS2004 freeware downloads have been upgraded to the latest version 3 packages and we have released new FSX freeware version 2.0.x packages. Fly UK Virtual Airways are pleased to announce that the majority of our new FS2004 and FSX freeware aircraft are now complete and available to download.
